Adler-Golden was born in Brooklyn and later attended Yale, Cornell and MIT. As a scientist, he has had a successful career at Burlington-based Spectral Sciences Inc. He has also continued his passion for making art in various forms —including painting, printing, and mixed media. Adler-Golden finds inspiration in nature, his travels, and from animals (most importantly, his many pet dogs over the years). He also says he gets inspiration from his wife of 43 years, Rachel, a piano teacher.

Dr. Adler-Golden was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer. They ask that you take this opportunity to donate to Union of Concerned Scientists: optional contributions may be made at the door, or online at: support.ucsusa.org/donate
