Artist Statement:

Susan Shoobe creates wheel thrown and hand built stoneware and porcelain using a variety of techniques to design both functional and decorative works. In her studio at Gorse Mills Studios in Needham, Susan offers individual and small group pottery classes. Previously, she worked and taught at Mudflat Studios in Somerville. A graduate of Wellesley College, she also holds an BFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, Israel and an MA in Art History from Tufts University.
