Nicole's Art Spot

Nicole Donson offers fun arts and crafts classes and opportunities for creative expression for people of all ages. Children and adults can explore their interests and gain new artistic skills in a nurturing, safe, and comfortable air-conditioned space at the Gorse Mill Art, Studio #209. Children can delve in a variety of art and craft media that interests them;  painting, collage and  sculpture to felting, sewing, weaving, knitting.  Adults can take workshops and classes in silk painting using dyes and learn how to do Nuno felting on a scarf. So that each participant receives a lot of attention, guidance, and assistance, class sizes are limited to 6 registrants.

Classes are held on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings and adult workshops on silk painting, wet-felting and Nuno felting in the evenings and on weekends. Nicole also hosts children’s birthday parties and offer drop-ins, one-on-one instruction, and adult art-night-out art parties. Her classes encourage creativity, exploration, experimentation, and self-discovery, with a special focus on the fiber arts.. Nicole strives to build self-esteem; where students leave proud of themselves and their creations.
