In the face of the ever changing condition of our health crisis, and our concern for the health and safety of our visitors, The Gorse Mill Studios is closed to the public until further notice.

Our current gallery exhibit:

"Translations, a chain of painting, poetry, mosaic and assemblage, Interpretations by Tova Speter, Maya Bernstein, Emily Bhargava, and Maria Beatrez Arvelo"  has been extended and we hope there will be a future opportunity for you to enjoy this exciting show. To see additional images of the work and to stay updated with virtual events related to the exhibit, please go to for more information.

If you have questions or inquiries about GMS, please contact us via email.

Stay safe. Stay healthy,

COVID-19 Gorse Mill Studios Update

We are a non-residential community of over 50 artists based in the historic Gorse Mill building in Needham, Massachusetts. We include artists working in ceramics, jewelry, photography, illustration, encaustic, glass, performing arts, painting, graphic design and more. We promote and support our artists through openings, gallery shows and art education programs.
